Get ready for a Bluefin Tuna fishing trip in the Adriatic Sea. Known for their incredible speed, power, and endurance, Bluefin Tuna are among the most sought-after game fish in the region. Whether you're an experienced angler or trying big game fishing for the first time, this trip offers the opportunity to target one of the ocean's strongest fish.

You'll fish aboard a 25' Pilot House that is disability friendly and equipped for offshore fishing. The vessel is federally permitted and set up to comfortably accommodate anglers as they pursue Bluefin Tuna in offshore waters.

This trip is open to anglers of all skill levels. Depending on conditions, fishing may involve a combination of live bait and artificial lures, with techniques adjusted based on weather, water conditions, and fish activity. Bluefin Tuna fishing often requires patience and persistence, but the possibility of connecting with one of these powerful fish is what brings anglers back year after year.

Possible departure times include 12:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 8:30 p.m. Please note that departure times are not flexible, so be sure to arrive ready to board at your scheduled time.

All rods, reels, bait, tackle, and fishing equipment are included. We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any food, drinks, or personal items you'd like during the trip.

As a sea lover, fishing, and my hometown Bakarac I have been fascinated by its Tuna observation posts and the stories they tell since I was a child. The love grew with me so I started researching and developing the idea of recreating Tuna fishing in the way it was done years ago and in 2015 I organized the first simulation of Tuna fishing the old-fashioned way. This event called "Tira, Tira!" expanded in the following years and became recognized as one of the most significant summer events in the area. In 2018 it was recognized by the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies and the magazine "Way to Croatia" and we received the award Simply the Best for the creativity of the event, which with its content enriches the tourist offer of the local community and nurtures customs. With the development of "Tira" my desire for real fishing for big fish only grew stronger so for the last few years I have been competing with my team in Big Game competitions as a member of the BigOm club from Omišalj, Krk, and for the last couple of seasons I have been the holder of the national fishing quota for big fish. I live by the sea and with the sea so I set sail all year round, fishing according to season.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 10 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 10 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
