Join Captain Marty for a guided fishing trip out of Cedar Mills Marina in Gordonville, Texas.

Whether you're brand new to fishing or have years of experience, Captain Marty welcomes anglers of all skill levels. With more than 10 years of experience on the water, he enjoys helping guests learn, catch fish, and have a good time while they're out there.

You'll be fishing from a 26' center console equipped with a fish finder, Spot-Lock trolling motor, and bait well. The boat also has a Bluetooth stereo, so you're welcome to connect your phone and play your own music during the trip.

Trips typically start at 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM and depart from a private boathouse at Cedar Mills Marina.

One of the nice things about this trip is that everything is included. Captain Marty provides the rods, reels, tackle, and live bait, so there's no need to bring fishing gear unless you want to. At the end of the trip, fish cleaning is included for any legal fish you decide to keep.

This trip is a great fit for all experience levels and is also child-friendly and disability-friendly.

You're welcome to bring your own food and drinks, and canned beer is allowed onboard.

While all of the fishing essentials are provided, it's a good idea to bring:

I found my love for fishing at the age of five years old. I grew up fishing on Lake Texoma with my dad and uncle. The Striped Bass or “Striper“ was introduced into Texoma when I was a teenager. I caught my first Striper at the age of 16 and was immediately hooked. I started my own part-time guide business in my early twenties and made the decision to leave my full-time job in 1995 to pursue my dreams of becoming a full-time guide. I have been running my own guide business since then and truly love and enjoy that I have the opportunity to help individuals create lasting memories and increase their love and ability for fishing.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
