About Your Trip

Spend a day on the water chasing some of the Northeast’s most sought-after freshwater species with a fully guided trip out of Oswego, New York. These trips run from mid-April through mid-September and take place on the productive waters of Lake Ontario, one of the top fisheries in the country.

You’ll have the option of a 6-hour half-day (morning or afternoon) or an 8-hour full-day trip, both designed for private groups of up to 6 anglers. After meeting at Wrights Landing Marina, it’s a short run to the fishing grounds—meaning more time with lines in the water and less time running.

Depending on the season, you’ll be targeting a mix of King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, and Steelhead. Spring brings excellent Brown Trout action in the shallows, while summer heats up with hard-charging King Salmon offshore. The crew uses proven trolling techniques with multi-rod spreads, giving you plenty of opportunities for steady action and even the chance at multiple hookups at once.

Your ride for the day is a spacious 31’ Tiara Open, powered by twin 454HP engines and built to handle Lake Ontario comfortably. The boat is fully equipped with modern electronics, downriggers, a fighting chair, and an onboard toilet for convenience. Everything is set up to maximize your fishing time while keeping the trip comfortable for anglers of all experience levels.

All rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided, along with fly fishing equipment if you’d like to mix things up. On Lake Ontario trips, the crew will also clean and fillet your catch so you can head home with fresh fish ready to cook.

Just bring a valid fishing license, snacks, drinks, and weather-appropriate clothing. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned angler, this is a laid-back, productive day on the water with a crew that knows how to stay on fish

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
