About Your Trip

Fish the legendary waters of the Oswego River from the comfort of a drift boat with a trip focused on one of the most effective techniques in the game—float fishing. If you’re serious about targeting Chinook salmon and steelhead the right way, this is it.

The Experience

This trip is all about controlled drifts and precise presentations. You’ll float productive sections of the river, working current seams, pockets, and holding water where fish stack up
throughout the season.

Target species include Chinook salmon, steelhead, and brown trout, depending on timing and conditions. The technique is hands-on and highly effective, giving you the best chance at consistent hookups and quality fish.

With a max of just 2 anglers, this is a focused, personalized experience where you’ll get plenty of time on the rod and direct guidance throughout the day.

The Boat & Setup

You’ll fish from a drift boat built specifically for river fishing—allowing you to cover water efficiently while staying positioned in the strike zone.

All rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided, along with snacks and drinks to keep you going throughout the trip.

What Sets It Apart

This trip is designed for anglers who want to fish effectively and learn proven river techniques. Float fishing is one of the most productive ways to target salmon and trout in moving water, and having a guide dialed into local conditions makes all the difference.

Add in access to lesser-known spots and constantly changing drifts, and you’ve got a dynamic day that keeps you on fish.

Good to Know

A valid New York fishing license is required prior to the trip. Be sure to dress in layers and bring appropriate footwear for river conditions, along with sun protection and any personal items you may need.

If you’re looking for a dialed-in, technique-driven way to fish the Oswego River, this trip delivers a true river fishing experience.
