Fish the productive inshore waters of Southwest Florida with Captain Paul out of St. James City, targeting some of the region’s most popular shallow water gamefish. These trips focus primarily on Redfish, Snook, and Speckled Trout, with seasonal opportunities to target species like Tripletail, Grouper, Tarpon, and Sharks depending on conditions and time of year.

Fishing takes place throughout the backwaters, mangroves, flats, and inshore structure that make SWFL one of the top fisheries in the state. The trip is designed to stay flexible and adapt throughout the day based on tides, weather, and what species are biting best.

You’ll fish aboard a 22’ Aquasport, a solid inshore platform well-suited for navigating Southwest Florida waters while comfortably accommodating your group.

Captain Paul also offers flexible pickup locations throughout Southwest Florida, making it easier to coordinate the trip around where you’re staying and the best fishing opportunities for the day.

Your trip includes bait, fish cleaning at the end of the day, and a 4-person Florida fishing license for the boat, so you can show up ready to fish without worrying about additional setup.

Whether you’re looking to sight fish the shallows for Reds and Snook or target seasonal species as conditions change, this is a laid-back Southwest Florida inshore experience focused on good fishing and time on the water.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel up to 1 day before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
