About Your Trip

Step into the water and experience fly fishing the way it’s meant to be done with a guided walk-and-wade trip across the Eastern Sierra. These trips focus on slowing things down, reading the water, and making thoughtful presentations in some of the region’s most productive fisheries.

You’ll be fishing rivers like the Owens and East Walker, along with other local waters depending on conditions. Walking and wading allows you to access prime holding water, adjust
your position, and stay engaged throughout the day.

The Experience

These trips are hands-on and tailored to your experience level. Whether you’re learning the basics or refining your technique, your guide will work with you on casting, presentation, and reading water while keeping things relaxed and enjoyable.

All trips are catch and release, with a focus on protecting the fishery and maintaining the quality of these waters for future anglers.

Full day trips include a break for lunch, giving you time to reset before getting back into the water for the afternoon session.

What’s Included

All rods, reels, and tackle are provided, so you can show up ready to fish. Your guide will handle fly selection and adjustments throughout the day to match conditions.

Good to Know

A valid California fishing license is required but not included in the trip price. Be sure to bring appropriate wading gear, layers for changing conditions, and any personal items you’d like for the day.

These trips are perfect for anglers looking to stay active, learn the water, and enjoy a more traditional fly fishing experience in one of the most scenic regions in the West.

For Tom, fly fishing is
about more than just the catch. It’s about spending time outdoors, enjoying the landscape, and sharing the experience with friends and family. His trips reflect that mindset—laid-back, hands-on, and centered around making the most of your time on the water.
