About Your Trip

When the weed lines light up off Islamorada, this is the trip you want. We point the bow east and run to the bluewater edge of the Gulf Stream — some of the most productive offshore grounds in the country sit just a few miles off our docks — and hunt mahi (dolphin) under the frigate birds, weed lines, and floating debris. On a good day you're doubled up, the cockpit's chaos, and the box fills fast with the best-eating fish in the ocean.

Mahi are the headliner, but the same water gives up blackfin and yellowfin tuna, wahoo, sailfish, kingfish, and the occasional blue marlin. We troll, pitch live bait, and run-and-gun on whatever we mark — if it's biting, we'll put you on it.

This is a full 8-hour offshore day for up to 6 anglers. Rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice, and your fishing license are all covered — just bring food, drinks, sunscreen, and a cooler for your fillets. We clean and bag your catch at the dock so you head home with dinner.

First time offshore or a seasoned bluewater crew, you'll fish with a captain and mate who'd rather grind for one more bite than call it early.

Captain Kit is a Florida native who grew up on the water and now runs trips out of Islamorada, putting anglers on fish just minutes from the Gulf Stream. Before making the full-time move into fishing, he built a career in high-performance, fast-paced environments—an approach that now shows up in how he runs his boat: efficient, focused, and always working to stay on the bite.

He learned the fishery the right way—spending years as a mate under a seasoned Keys captain, dialing in everything from rigging baits and reading current to finding productive water across reefs, wrecks, and offshore grounds. That foundation shows in every trip, with a clear emphasis on putting anglers in the best position to succeed.

Captain Kit also competes in some of the Keys’ top tournaments, bringing that same competitive edge into his charters. It’s a mindset built around staying sharp, adapting quickly, and making the right call when conditions change.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 42’ Liberty Express, a powerful, tournament-ready boat equipped with top-tier tackle and all the comforts needed for a full day offshore. Docked at Robbie’s Marina, you’re just a short run from blue water—meaning more time fishing and less time getting there.

His approach is straightforward—fish hard, stay focused, and put people on fish. Whether it’s your first time offshore or you’ve been doing it for years, the goal is the same: bent rods, screaming drags, and a day you won’t forget.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
