About Your Trip

Explore the vast and untouched waters of Everglades City, a true angler’s playground made up of winding creeks, mangrove shorelines, and endless backcountry. This is a place where local knowledge makes all the difference—and where every day presents a new challenge.

You’ll be targeting Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and more, depending on the season. The focus is on shallow water sight fishing, where the goal is to locate fish first, then make the
right cast to trigger a bite. It’s a method that feels more like hunting than fishing—and one that keeps anglers coming back.

Whether you’re fishing rivers, flats, or backcountry waters, the approach is always tailored to conditions and your experience level. Light tackle, spinning, and fly fishing are all in play, and all rods, reels, bait, lures, and licenses are included.

This is a highly immersive trip designed to give you a real feel for the Everglades—quiet, remote, and full of opportunity for those willing to put in the effort.

** Catch and release mandatory

About Your Guide

Quinton D.

Independent Guide
Captain Q is a dedicated Everglades guide who has spent the past several years fully immersed in these waters. He specializes in shallow water sight fishing, with a strong preference for fly fishing, though conventional gear is always an option.

For him, fishing is about the hunt—finding the fish, reading the water, and making the right move at the right time. It’s a style that’s technical, rewarding, and deeply engaging. His passion for the Everglades runs deep, and he spends
as much time as possible exploring, learning, and refining his approach.

What sets him apart is how much he values the experience. Guiding hasn’t taken away from his love of fishing—it’s enhanced it. Seeing clients succeed, whether it’s their first snook or a hard-earned tarpon, is what drives him.

Laid-back, patient, and focused, he works with anglers of all skill levels and takes pride in creating a trip that’s not just about catching fish, but about the time spent on the water. In a place as vast and complex as the Everglades, having someone who truly knows it makes all the difference—and he’s ready to show you why it’s his favorite place in the world.
