About Your Trip

Spend the day chasing some of Lake Hartwell’s most popular freshwater gamefish with Captain Adam. These trips focus on targeting Striped Bass, Hybrid Striped Bass, and Spotted Bass while fishing one of the Southeast’s premier fisheries.

Trips are offered in both 5-hour morning and 4-hour afternoon formats, giving anglers the flexibility to fish during different feeding windows throughout the day. Depending on current conditions, Captain Adam will use a mix of trolling, live bait fishing, spinning, and both light and heavy tackle techniques to stay on active fish.

Lake Hartwell is known for its strong populations of Stripers, Hybrids, and Spotted Bass, and Captain Adam adjusts the game plan daily based on water conditions, seasonal fish movement, and bait activity to maximize opportunities throughout the trip.

You’ll fish aboard a 25’ Clearwater center console equipped to comfortably accommodate up to 6 anglers. The boat is rigged for both live bait and trolling applications and is designed to efficiently cover water while staying comfortable throughout the trip.

All rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait are included, along with bottled water for the day. Guests will need to purchase a valid local fishing license before the trip.

Whether you’re an experienced angler looking to target Stripers or a family wanting to enjoy time on the lake together, Captain Adam focuses on creating a fun, approachable, and memorable fishing experience for anglers of all skill levels.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
