Spend the day exploring the productive inshore waters surrounding Carolina Beach, Wilmington, and Oak Island with Captain Bryan. These trips are designed for anglers of all experience levels and offer the opportunity to target some of the most popular inshore species found along the North Carolina coast.

Depending on the season and conditions, you'll have the chance to target Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Tripletail, and other seasonal species. Captain Bryan adjusts locations and techniques throughout the day to take advantage of current conditions and maximize opportunities on the water.

Fishing techniques may include live bait fishing, light tackle casting, spinning, jigging, popping, and bottom fishing depending on the target species and time of year. Captain Bryan particularly enjoys live bait fishing during the warmer months and transitioning to artificial presentations during the cooler seasons.

You'll fish aboard a 20' Sea Pro bay boat built to comfortably access shallow backwaters, marshes, flats, nearshore structure, reefs, and wrecks. The boat is equipped with modern electronics, a live bait well, and everything needed for a productive day on the water.

All rods, reels, tackle, bait, lures, and fishing licenses are included. If available, live bait will be prepared before the trip at no additional cost. At the end of the day, Captain Bryan will gladly clean and fillet your catch so it's ready for the table.

These trips are family-friendly, and kids are always welcome aboard. Whether you're looking to catch your first Redfish, put together a fresh fish dinner, or simply spend a relaxing day on the water, Captain Bryan is ready to help make it happen.

What started as a childhood passion eventually became a profession, allowing him to spend his days doing what he loves most—helping others catch fish and enjoy everything the North Carolina coast has to offer.

Known for his laid-back approach and local knowledge, Captain Bryan enjoys working with anglers of all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced fishermen looking to learn new techniques. His goal is to provide a fun, productive, and educational experience while sharing the fishery he has spent decades learning.

Over the years, he has developed a strong understanding of seasonal fish movements, local structure, and the techniques that consistently produce fish throughout the year. Whether targeting Redfish in the marshes, Trout along grass lines, or Sheepshead around structure, he works hard to put anglers in the best possible position for success.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel up to 1 day before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
