About Your Trip

If you're looking for a true bucket-list fishing adventure, it doesn't get much better than a full-day offshore trip targeting giant bluefin tuna and sharks in the legendary waters of the Gulf of Maine. Join Captain Peter and Captain Frankie aboard their 33' center console and experience the kind of fishing that keeps anglers coming back year after year.

These trips are built around chasing some of the most powerful fish that swim in the
Atlantic. The crew spends countless hours tracking bait concentrations, whale activity, water conditions, and seasonal migrations to stay on top of the bite. Their local knowledge and relentless work ethic allow them to put anglers in the best possible position to encounter the fish they've traveled to New Hampshire to catch.

Whether you're watching a giant tuna explode on a bait, hearing a reel scream as hundreds of yards of line disappear, or battling a powerful shark offshore, every moment has the potential to become a story you'll tell for years. These are physical, adrenaline-filled battles that test both angler and equipment, and the reward can be the fish of a lifetime.

Bluefin Tuna Trips

When it comes to bluefin tuna fishing, Captain Peter and Captain Frankie offer two unique opportunities depending on your goals and the current regulations.

Commercial Giant Bluefin Tuna

For anglers looking to chase truly massive fish, commercial tuna trips target bluefin measuring over 73 inches that are eligible for commercial harvest. These giants are among the most powerful sportfish on the planet and represent a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many anglers.

Commercial tuna trips are only available on designated days that vary throughout the season, so your captain will coordinate scheduling based on current regulations and availability.

If your group lands a market fish, you'll receive 10% of the tuna's final sale value. Alternatively, you may choose to keep the tail for a custom taxidermy display. If selected, the crew will coordinate the entire process and have the finished piece shipped directly to your home the following spring.

Recreational Bluefin Tuna

Recreational tuna trips target fish between 45 and 73 inches and are available seven days a week throughout the season. These fish commonly range from 50 to 70 inches and provide incredible battles that can challenge even experienced anglers.

Should a giant tuna over 73 inches be hooked during a recreational trip, it will be safely released in accordance with federal regulations. Legal fish will be professionally processed dockside so you can head home with some of the finest table fare available anywhere in the world.

Every tuna trip is equipped with heavy-duty 130-class tackle specifically designed for battling bluefin tuna, giving you the power needed when one of these incredible fish decides to test your limits.

Shark Fishing

For anglers looking for nonstop excitement and drag-screaming runs, shark trips deliver an unforgettable offshore experience. These apex predators provide explosive strikes, powerful fights, and some of the most exciting moments you'll experience on the water.

Depending on the season and offshore conditions, anglers can encounter a variety of shark species including Blue Sharks and Porbeagle Sharks, with occasional opportunities to encounter Mako and Thresher Sharks. Every shark trip offers the chance to battle powerful predators capable of blistering runs, stubborn fights, and unforgettable memories offshore in the Gulf of Maine.

Captain Peter and Captain Frankie spend countless hours monitoring offshore conditions, bait concentrations, and fish activity to put anglers in the best possible position for success. Whether you're looking to check a shark off your bucket list or simply want an action-packed day offshore with friends and family, these trips offer plenty of excitement from start to finish.

What's Included

These full-day offshore trips are limited to just four anglers to maximize fishing opportunities and ensure everyone gets plenty of time in the action. Your trip includes all rods, reels, tackle, bait, safety equipment, and New Hampshire saltwater fishing licenses. The vessel is fully equipped with advanced electronics, radar, GPS, emergency beacon, life raft, and comprehensive safety equipment.

The crew takes pride in providing a professional, high-energy experience while keeping safety and customer service at the forefront. Whether you're chasing your first bluefin, hoping to battle a giant, crossing a shark off your bucket list, or simply looking for an unforgettable day offshore with friends, Captain Peter and Captain Frankie will work hard to make it happen.

These trips often book well in advance during peak season, so securing your date early is highly recommended. All you need to bring is your food, drinks, weather-appropriate clothing, and a camera—you never know when the fish of a lifetime is going to show up.
