About Your Trip

Experience classic Maine deer hunting with Jeff with the option for a guided or unguided hunt for Whitetail Deer. You can set up for a day hunt or rent the Lodge too and hunt for the week

These hunts take place throughout Maine's varied wilderness, where you may find yourself hunting thick forests, hardwood ridges, and other areas holding deer. Jeff will use his local knowledge and scouting to help identify productive areas based on fresh tracks, rubs, trails, feeding patterns, and current deer movement.

Depending on the situation, hunts may take place from strategically positioned stands or involve hunting from the ground and spot-and-stalk techniques. Rifle hunting is the primary method, though bow hunters are also welcome. Jeff can also incorporate calling and rattling when conditions make those techniques appropriate.

Expect early mornings and plenty of patience. Jeff works closely with each hunter and can adjust the experience for beginners or seasoned deer hunters, helping with everything from reading sign and playing the wind to positioning for an ethical shot opportunity.

Trips are available from 1 to 5 days, giving you the flexibility to build the hunt around your schedule. Meals and lodging are not included, but Jeff can point you toward nearby options.

Bring your appropriate Maine license and tags, weapon, warm and quiet clothing, waterproof outer layers, and a dependable pair of boots, and get ready to experience Whitetail hunting in the Maine woods.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a hunting license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
