About Your Trip

Come experience Maine's incredible freshwater fishing with Captain Jeff on a guided trip targeting Brook Trout, Lake Trout, and Landlocked Salmon. With both 4-hour and 8-hour options available, you can fit a half day of fishing into your vacation or spend a full day exploring more of Maine's productive trout waters.

Captain Jeff will use his local knowledge to determine where and how to fish based on the season and current conditions. Depending on where the fish are holding, you may troll with downriggers for Lake Trout, cast around productive structure for Brook Trout, work live bait, or use a variety of light-tackle presentations. Electronics can also come into play when locating Lake Trout holding in deeper water.

Whether you're an experienced angler or picking up a rod for the first time, Jeff is happy to help with everything from reading the water and presenting your bait to fighting and properly handling fish. The longer 8-hour trip gives you additional time to cover water, try different techniques, and settle into a full day of fishing. Lunch is also included on the full-day option.

All rods, reels, lures, and bait are provided. Just bring your valid Maine fishing license, weather-appropriate clothing, snacks and drinks for the half-day trip, and any personal items you'd like to have with you.

From native Brook Trout to hard-fighting Lake Trout and the possibility of Landlocked Salmon, this trip is a great way to experience Maine's freshwater fisheries with a guide who has spent years exploring the state's woods and waters.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
