About Your Trip

Experience a different side of western fly fishing by floating one of Utah's beautiful trout rivers in a comfortable drift boat. Available as either a half-day or full-day trip, this private guided adventure allows you to cover miles of productive water while reaching runs, riffles, seams, and pools that are difficult or impossible to access on foot.

Floating provides a relaxed and efficient way to experience the river while maximizing fishing opportunities throughout the day. Your guide handles positioning the boat and navigating the river so you can stay focused on making quality presentations and enjoying the scenery. Fishing locations are chosen based on current river conditions and seasonal patterns to give you the best opportunity for a productive day.

Depending on the time of year, you'll target rainbow, brown, cutthroat, and brook trout, with mountain whitefish also available in many fisheries. Throughout the float, your guide will provide personalized instruction suited to your experience level, whether you're learning the basics of fly casting or refining techniques such as drift control, mending, fly selection, reading current seams, and adapting to changing conditions.

All premium fly fishing equipment is included, and complimentary wader rentals are available if needed. Simply arrive prepared for the weather and your guide will take care of the rest. Full-day trips also include lunch and drinks, allowing you to spend even more time exploring productive water and taking advantage of changing feeding windows throughout the day.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
