Discover the mountain rivers of Utah or Arizona on a guided walk-and-wade fly fishing trip designed around your experience level and fishing goals. Whether you're stepping into a pair of waders for the very first time or looking to fine-tune advanced techniques, your guide will customize the day to help you make the most of your time on the water.

Fishing locations are selected based on the season, current water conditions, and where the bite is strongest, allowing you to experience some of the region's premier trout fisheries. Throughout the day, you'll target rainbow, brown, cutthroat, and brook trout, with opportunities for mountain whitefish depending on where you're fishing. Exact meeting locations are provided shortly before your trip to ensure you're heading to the best water available rather than a predetermined destination.

As you work your way through runs, riffles, and pools, your guide will share the techniques that consistently produce fish in these western rivers. Beginners can learn the fundamentals of fly casting, line control, knot tying, insect matching, and reading moving water, while experienced anglers can dive deeper into presentation, fly selection, entomology, and advanced tactics for changing conditions.

Every trip includes quality fly fishing equipment along with complimentary wader rentals, so you don't need to own specialized gear to enjoy the experience. You're also welcome to bring your own favorite setup if you'd prefer. Full-day trips include lunch and drinks, giving you additional time to explore more water and fish through different periods of the day when conditions can change.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
