About Your Trip

If you’re looking to get on the water without committing to a full day, the 3 or 4-hour inshore trip is a perfect option. These shorter trips are built for steady action and a fun, laid-back experience fishing the waters around Port Aransas.

You’ll be targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and Flounder, depending on conditions and time of year. Fishing is typically done by drifting and bottom fishing with light tackle, with techniques like jigging and popping mixed in to stay on active fish. The focus is on keeping things simple, productive, and engaging from the first cast.

You’ll be fishing from a 23’ Majek M2 flats boat, designed for navigating shallow water, reefs, and back bays where these fish feed. The boat is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, trolling motor, and a live bait well, and can comfortably accommodate up to 5 anglers.

All rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait are included, along with water. At the end of the trip, your catch will be cleaned and filleted by the captain at no extra charge.

These trips are family-friendly and a great fit for beginners, kids, or anyone looking to get a quick taste of inshore fishing. Just bring a valid Texas fishing license, along with sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and any snacks or additional drinks you’d like. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but glass containers and hard liquor should be avoided.

It’s a straightforward, action-focused trip that makes the most of your time on the water.
