About Your Trip

Join Captain Perrin for a day of fishing around Murrells Inlet, where you'll have the opportunity to explore everything from the creeks and jetties to nearshore reefs, wrecks, and live bottom. With 4-, 6-, and 8-hour trips available, Captain Perrin can tailor the day around the conditions, season, and how much time your group wants to spend fishing.

Closer to shore, you'll work the creeks and jetties for species like Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Speckled
Trout, and Sheepshead. Depending on the season and conditions, you can also head into the ocean to fish reefs, wrecks, and live bottom for Spadefish and other species, troll for King and Spanish Mackerel, or sight cast for Cobia. Sharks can also be part of the mix.

Captain Perrin uses a variety of techniques to match the fishery, including light tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, and drift fishing. With more than 40 years of experience around Murrells Inlet, he's happy to teach along the way. Whether you want to learn how to throw a cast net and tie a knot or you're an experienced angler looking to spend a full day fishing, he'll adjust the trip to your group.

The 4-hour half-day is available in both morning and afternoon and focuses primarily on the creeks, jetties, and nearby fishing grounds. Stepping up to the 6-hour or 8-hour trip gives you more time to cover water and, weather permitting, explore farther into the ocean for nearshore, reef, and wreck fishing.

You'll fish aboard Captain Perrin's 22' Sea Hunt center console, powered by a 200 HP Yamaha and accommodating up to 5 guests. The boat is equipped with Garmin GPS and fishfinder electronics, dual live bait wells, a wireless i-Pilot trolling motor, JL Audio system, and an ice box stocked with cold bottled water.

Rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait are all included, and Captain Perrin's charter license covers everyone aboard, so you won't need to purchase a separate fishing license. You're welcome to keep legal fish within current regulations, and fish cleaning and filleting are included after your trip.

Bring along your favorite snacks and drinks, weather-appropriate clothing, a hat, and sunglasses, and get ready to experience the variety of fishing Murrells Inlet has to offer.
