About Your Trip

Spend a full day chasing two of the Pacific Northwest's most iconic gamefish with Captain Kirk on a private Salmon and Steelhead fishing adventure!

These 8-hour trips target Chinook Salmon and Steelhead across productive rivers in Eastern Oregon and the surrounding Pacific Northwest. Depending on the season, river conditions, and where the fish are running, Kirk can adjust the destination and approach to give your group the best opportunity for a productive day.

With decades
of experience navigating these rivers, Kirk knows how dramatically the fishery can change throughout the year. He'll tailor the day around current conditions while providing hands-on instruction along the way. Beginners are welcome, and experienced fishermen can take advantage of Kirk's extensive knowledge of the local rivers and seasonal fish movements.

Your group will fish aboard a 23' river boat powered by a 225HP Mercury and designed to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. Trips typically begin at 7:00 AM and run for approximately 8 hours, giving you a full day to explore productive water and stay after the bite.

Rods, reels, tackle, and live bait when applicable are provided. Guests should bring food and drinks, weather-appropriate clothing, sun protection, polarized sunglasses, and a valid Oregon fishing license.

From the power of a Chinook to the hard-fighting runs of a Steelhead, this trip gives you a chance to experience a classic Pacific Northwest fishery alongside a captain who's spent much of his life learning these rivers.
