Spend 6 hours exploring North Carolina's productive nearshore reefs and wrecks with Captain Adam!

Staying within roughly 20 miles of the coast, this trip gives you additional time to reach productive structure and settle into the bite while still keeping you closer to shore than a true offshore trip.

About Your Trip

Spend 6 hours exploring North Carolina's productive nearshore reefs and wrecks with Captain Adam!

Staying within roughly 20 miles of the coast, this trip gives you additional time to reach productive structure and settle into the bite while still keeping you closer to shore than a true offshore trip.

Depending on the season and conditions, you'll be looking for King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Black Seabass, Vermilion Snapper, Amberjack, and other species cruising the nearshore waters.
Captain Adam will tailor the approach to what's producing, which could mean dropping baits around reefs and wrecks, trolling for fast-moving Mackerel, or breaking out the spinning and jigging gear.

With 6 hours to work with, you'll have more time than the shorter nearshore trip to explore different areas, change techniques, and work productive structure.

You'll fish aboard Captain Adam's 24' Key West center console powered by a 250 HP Yamaha and equipped with GPS, a fishfinder, outriggers, live bait well, wireless trolling motor, ice box, and a small portable toilet.

Captain Adam provides the rods, reels, tackle, lures, bait, and fishing licenses for your trip. Bring along sunglasses, bottled water, snacks, and non-spray sunscreen, and come ready for a half day of fishing the North Carolina coast!

Captain Adam accommodates up to 4 anglers.

Independent Guide
Captain Adam is a retired U.S. Marine who has been fishing the coastal waters of North Carolina since 2012. After years on the water and working as a mate aboard other local charters beginning in 2019, he now puts that experience to work running trips of his own.

From Sneads Ferry to Morehead City, Adam has spent years learning North Carolina's nearshore and offshore fisheries. Whether he's working reefs and wrecks for bottom fish or heading offshore in search of
Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and other pelagics, he enjoys sharing what he's learned and giving anglers a fun, laid-back day on the water.

Captain Adam welcomes anglers of all experience levels and especially enjoys getting families and kids outdoors. He'll help you throughout the trip while using techniques ranging from trolling and bottom fishing to spinning and jigging depending on the conditions and target species.

You'll fish aboard his 24' Key West center console powered by a 250 HP Yamaha and equipped for groups of up to 4. Whether you're looking for a family-friendly morning nearshore or a full day beyond 20 miles, Captain Adam is ready to show you what fishing the North Carolina coast has to offer.
