Depending on conditions and where the bite is strongest, Ray fishes destinations like the Harris Chain, Lake Toho, and Lake Conway. Each offers a different style of bass fishing, from working the grass and structure of the Harris Chain to hunting trophy Largemouth on famous Lake Toho or exploring the clear water around Conway.

Ray competes in the Major League Fishing BFL Gator Division and brings that tournament mindset to every trip. He’ll adjust locations, presentations, and techniques based on the conditions, while anglers interested in learning can get a firsthand look at how he breaks down unfamiliar water and uses modern electronics to locate pressured bass.

One of Ray’s specialties is forward-facing sonar. His boat is equipped with Lowrance HDS Pro electronics and a dual-transducer ActiveTarget 2 system, giving anglers the opportunity to learn how modern sonar can be used to locate fish, understand their behavior, and adjust presentations in real time.

You’ll fish aboard a 20' bass boat set up with tournament-level rods, reels, tackle, and artificial lures. Live-bait fishing can also be arranged with advance notice for groups who prefer that approach.

Water and electrolyte drinks are provided, and there’s an iced-down cooler onboard. All you’ll need is your Florida freshwater fishing license, sun protection, and whatever personal items you’d like for your time on the water.

All fish are handled with care and released, making this a 100% catch-and-release experience. Whether you’re looking to chase Central Florida Largemouth or want to become a better angler in the process, Ray can shape the day around your goals.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 5 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 5 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
