About Your Trip

Hit the water with Captain Ricky for a day of largemouth bass fishing on Lake Kissimmee, one of Central Florida’s classic bass fisheries.

Trips can be customized around artificial lures, live bait, or fly fishing depending on the conditions and how you want to fish. Ricky's extensive tournament fishing background gives him plenty of experience breaking down Florida waters, and he's happy to work with anglers of every skill level. Beginners can learn the fundamentals while more experienced fishermen can dig deeper into presentations, patterns, and techniques for targeting Florida largemouth.

Choose from 4, 6, or 8-hour trips for groups of up to 3 anglers. Ricky provides rods, reels, lures, terminal tackle, water, ice, snacks, and drinks, but you're welcome to bring along any personal fishing gear you'd like to use. Professional-quality photos from your day will also be sent to you after the trip.

Pack polarized sunglasses, sun protection, weather-appropriate clothing, and a rain jacket, then get ready for a full day experiencing Lake Kissimmee with a captain who lives and breathes bass fishing.

Years of long days on the water and experience fishing different bodies of water across the country have helped Ricky develop the knowledge he now shares with his guests. Whether you're an advanced tournament angler looking to pick up a few new techniques or a beginner experiencing Florida bass fishing for the first time, Ricky is happy to tailor the day to your experience level.

Ricky holds a US Coast Guard 100-Ton Master license and is commercially insured. Above all, he's passionate about helping his guests enjoy the water, learn something new, and experience the wildlife and bass fishing that make Central Florida special.

Snacks/lunch, polarized sunglasses, hat, SPF sun shirt, buff. Rain gear (weather permitting), though a rain jacket is suggested regardless of the forecast. During cold fronts, it can get chilly in Florida; layers are recommended.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 2 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 2 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
