Join Nathan for a laid-back fishing trip exploring the rivers, lakes, and ponds of inland Maine. Most trips take place along the Kennebec River, with multiple starting points available depending on current conditions and where the fishing has been best.

River floats typically run 4 to 6 hours and can offer opportunities for Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Salmon, and seasonal Smallmouth Bass during the warmer summer months. Depending on the size of your group and the water being fished, you'll head out aboard a 14' or 15' jon boat or in 17' canoes.

Nathan can also take the trip to nearby lakes and ponds for a quieter day trolling for Brown and Rainbow Trout. These trips provide an easygoing way to cover water while experiencing another side of Maine's inland fisheries.

All necessary fishing gear is provided, and trips can be tailored to both beginners and experienced anglers. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you'd like for your time on the water.

Whether you're floating the Kennebec, chasing summer Smallmouth, or trolling a quiet trout pond, Nathan will build the day around the season, conditions, and the best fishing available.

Everything is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
