Lake Ontario can get big, cold, and wide open, and this 6-hour trip gives you a solid window to fish it without burning the whole day. Head out from Kent, New York for a morning or afternoon on the lake, covering water and targeting Chinook Salmon, Steelhead, Brown Trout, and Lake Trout depending on conditions.

About Your Trip

Lake Ontario can get big, cold, and wide open, and this 6-hour trip gives you a solid window to fish it without burning the whole day. Head out from Kent, New York for a morning or afternoon on the lake, covering water and targeting Chinook Salmon, Steelhead, Brown Trout, and Lake Trout depending on conditions.

You’ll fish from a 33-foot Trojan cuddy cabin equipped with GPS, fishfinder, radar, and a refrigerator. There’s plenty of room
to settle in between bites while still having the space and setup needed for a productive day on the water.

All fishing gear is included, and your catch can be cleaned after the trip. Whether you’re new to Great Lakes fishing or have a few seasons under your belt, this is a straightforward way to spend half a day chasing hard-fighting fish on open water.

Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-ready clothing, and anything else you’d want for a few hours out on Lake Ontario.

Been fishing my whole life but Trout and Salmon fishing grabbed me hook, line and sinker when I was young. Went out with my uncle and watched my gramps go to Michigan every fall. Decided with some persuasion from friends to get my captains license along with a promise to my gramps as he had his as well that I would. Years later here I am doing it for myself and help to make memories...
