About Your Trip

Get out on the waters of Barnegat Light with Captain Rob for a 6-hour Striped Bass fishing adventure! Available with morning and afternoon departures, this trip gives you the opportunity to chase hard-fighting Stripers throughout the bay and nearby coastal waters.

Depending on the conditions and fish activity, Rob will use a mix of trolling, jigging, live bait fishing, and topwater techniques to target feeding bass. From working bait schools to fishing structure and productive channels, you'll experience different approaches to catching Striped Bass during their seasonal migrations.

You'll fish aboard Rob's 25-foot Sea Hunt center console with room for up to four anglers. Whether you're new to fishing or an experienced angler looking to chase the spring or fall Striper runs, Rob will tailor the experience to your group. All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are included, along with complimentary catch cleaning and filleting. Just bring snacks, drinks, and sun protection for your time on the water!

Rob enjoys working with anglers of all skill levels, using techniques like trolling, jigging, popping, spinning, and bottom fishing to adapt to the conditions. He runs a 25-foot Sea Hunt center console powered by twin Yamaha 150HP engines, accommodating up to four guests. Whether you're looking for a relaxed day of bottom fishing or an offshore adventure, Rob brings the experience and equipment to help make the most of your trip.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
