Join Captain Matt for a day of salmon fishing on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers around Portland, Oregon. Depending on the season and river conditions, you'll be targeting Chinook and Coho Salmon as they make their way through these productive waterways.

You'll fish aboard Matt's 24' Willie's jet sled, using heavy tackle trolling techniques to target salmon throughout the river. Artificial lures are the primary approach, though cut bait may also be used depending on
conditions and what's producing bites. These fish are known for their powerful runs and hard fights, offering plenty of excitement for anglers of all experience levels.

Captain Matt provides all the rods, reels, and tackle needed for the trip. Just bring your fishing license, sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any snacks or drinks you'd like for the day.

Whether you're new to salmon fishing or have spent plenty of time on the water, this trip is a great opportunity to chase Chinook and Coho on two of Oregon's well-known salmon fisheries. Captain Matt will adjust the day's approach based on conditions and fish activity to make the most of your time on the river.
