About Your Trip

Hop on board with Captain John and prepare for an action-packed day of inshore Gulf fishing! Located right on the Louisiana marshes, Venice is home to some of the most extensive and productive inshore waters around.

On this full-day trip, Captain John will cruise you through the inshore flats and shallow waters where you'll be targeting exciting inshore species such as Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout. You'll be targeting these fish by drift fishing and using light tackle and artificial lures. No matter your skill level, Captain John will show you some expert tips to help get one on the line!

You'll be fishing aboard a 24' Gravois center console with enough room for 4 anglers. Powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine, this vessel will traverse the inshore Venice waters with ease! She comes complete with GPS, Fishfinder, a Live Bait Well, a Wireless Trolling Motor, and an Ice Box to store your catches.

Captain John will provide all rods, reels, tackle and ice for drinks and fish. All you need to bring is a Louisiana fishing license. There’s a cooler on board with water, but feel free to bring own drinks and snacks as well. Book your trip today and get ready to catch some fish!

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
