Captain Mike and Captain Tim jointly run there charter operation. Captain Tim started with one small charter boat and has since grown to have three! With his children captaining the other two they can run continuous tours throughout the year.

While both Mike and Tim are incredible captains and even better people, Captain Mike has filled the gap to run trips most often while Tim has taken a step back to run more of the logistical side of the business. Captain Tim still gets out there when he can, to run trips jointly or when Mike has a prior engagement. Both love their job – it's a chance to target big game species every day! While its almost always Mike, both captains are always after the biggest and fastest species out there – Sailfish, Tuna, Shark... and they can't wait to share their passion with you.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Tim will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel up to 1 day before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Reality check: some days you spend $1100 (including live bait & tip), and you catch nothing and everyone is bored and disappointed. Guess that's why it's called "fishing" instead of "catching." Capt Dave and First Mate Thomas were very nice and tried hard to get us some fish, even kept us out an extra hour past the 4 hours booked, but ultimately the kids didn't get to do anything and it was a really expensive boat ride. Probably won't try that again, but only due to cost and risk of a bust, not because there was anything wrong with the boat or crew. I do wish there was some kind of policy of this outfit to soften the blow or maybe at least let the kids throw something in the water to "fish" back by the dock if this happens. That way, at least they get to feel like they did something and it's on them if nothing hits. But with this style of fishing (kite fishing for sailfish and other big fish), it's really only the First Mate who does anything active and everyone else just watches, sits, and waits (I guess just to reel if they get a fish on?). Take this review with a grain of salt - I'm sure if even just one fish had really hit everyone would have been thrilled and we would be saying we would do it again. But this is the reality check for people teetering and wondering if it's worth the high price. Just the truth: if you catch some sport fish, it's a completely different value proposition than if you get nothing. You'll pay the same price for either of these very different experiences.

My son and I went on a 4 hour fishing trip from Pompano Beach through the Hillsboro Beach Inlet. Captain Dave and mate Tom crewed the boat. They were both professional and very friendly. They made us feel welcome immediately and Captain Dave in particular showed interest in my son who had not been on a deep sea trip previously.

They both made the utmost efforts to find us fish. They told us that the morning trip had been pretty quite but they did a lot to find fish, which they did. We ended up landing 5 fish of different species and Tom was kind enough as well as skilled enough to clean the Mahi Mahi and Black Tuna for us to take with us.

I would definitely go out with them again the next time we go.
