About Your Trip

Enjoy the low country waters of Charleston, Folly Beach, and Kiawah Island with Captain Brian as you chase down all kinds of inshore species. Trips start at 7 am for morning trips and 1-2 pm for afternoon trips.

With over three decades of experience Captain Brian and his team offer unparalleled knowledge and experience of the unique river systems of Charleston and surrounding inshore waters. While enjoying all that the rivers have to offer you
will have the unique opportunity to catch fish ranging from Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead, or Shark.

Captain Brian will provide all the bait, tackle, rods, reels, bottled water, and fishing licenses you will need for an awesome adventure. Depending on where your staying, Captain Brian can often pick you up closer to home base if that makes it easier for you. He will often venture north from Folly Beach to fish closer to Charleston in the Stono river tributary or move south to fish closer to Kiawah. Let us know where you're staying and we'll see if Captain Brian can accommodate you!

Captain Brian loves to practice catch and release to benefit his local fishery, but is more than happy to clean your catch for you as well if you'd like to keep some slot fish to take home for dinner!

All he recommends is that you dress appropriately for the weather and bring non-aerosol sunscreen, sunglasses, and any food or drinks you'd like to enjoy onboard. If you plan to take home your catch, you can also bring a personal cooler with ice that you can leave in your car for after the trip.

Captain Brian has been fishing and exploring the rivers of Folly Beach, and Kiawah Island for over twenty years. You will find him out on the water more often than not exploring the best spots to fish based on tides and time of day. Take advantage of Captain Brian's unique knowledge of the waters for an unparalleled opportunity to get to know Charleston through an exciting and colorful lens.

Time is often not a cut and dry criteria for Captain
Brian. His goal is to provide you with a true charter experience with native knowledge and a friendly approach to life on the water. If that means fishing an extra 30 min to get you hooked into your next trophy or limit, Captain Brian is often ready to keep fishing.

Like all great captains, Captain Brian knows it's fishing not catching but no matter what happens out there on the water, Captain Brian is there to ensure you step off the boat happy and sun-filled at the end of your day out on the water.
