Captain Philip has been fishing his whole life from just 5 years old. He learned his love of fishing from his father who used to take him fishing up the Tennessee River for Large Mouth Bass and fishing in all kinds of Lakes and Ponds all over Tennessee and Kentucky. As he grew up his love for fishing grew as well and he found that nothing made him happier than to be out on the water with a rod in his hand chasing those finned trophies that lay below the surface. After he joined the military he traveled around the country and would choose his assignments based on the fishing at the locations he would go. He's fished for Striped Bass in Lake Cumberland, Kentucky, and in San Francisco Bay after he returned from an overseas assignment in Korea. Besides the Striped Bass in San Francisco, Captain Philip also fished for Salmon, Halibut, and Sturgeon. From there, he took U.S Army assignments in Washington State so he could fish for Steelhead Trout and King Salmon, and he went to Alaska to fish for King Salmon and "Barn Door" Halibut. He took an assignment in Hawaii where he fished for Mahi Mahi, Swordfish, Sailfish, and Marlin to name a few. After stints in these locations, Captain Philip retired from Hawaii after travelling the world for 28 years while serving in the U.S Army. Then after traveling and fishing the world over, Captain Philip's absolute favorite fishing has turned out to be right here along the Emerald Coast of the Gulf of Mexico, where he has been living and fishing since September 2015.

We had an absolute blast on our trip. The captain is a retired sergeant major and offers discounts for active and reserve military. If you want to have a great day on the water and catch some fish then Captain Phillip is your guy. 10/10 would recommend.
