About Your Trip

Get the kids hooked on fishing with this special inshore trip, guided by Captain Matt—a highly experienced angler who'll love to show them the ropes! You'll check out a range of habitats, looking for Redfish, Speckled Seatrout, Snook, and anything else that will take the bait. Let Captain Matt direct you to his best spots and honey holes for these fun and exciting inshore species, but be prepared to have the kids begging you to take them out again as soon as you're back on the dock!

Depending on the season, weather, and your preferences, Captain Matt will get you hooked up on fish using a range of tackle and techniques, from sightcasting lures to "crawling" shallow-water Reds to jigging cut bait for lurking fish. On the morning of the trip, you'll head out aboard his 26' Southern Skimmer center console—a versatile, comfortable boat perfect for these types of fishing. It's equipped with a 250 hp Yamaha engine to get you on the fish smoothly and quickly.

Captain Matt will bring everything necessary for a blue-ribbon fishing experience, including rods, reels, tackle, bait, and most importantly, his expertise for catching prizewinners—whether that's Dad's Personal Best or your kid's first-ever fish. To maximize your experience on the water, make sure to remember a pair of Polarized Sunglasses, a Hat, Weather-Appropriate Clothing, Sunscreen, and your Fishing License
