About Your Trip

Half day of fishing offshore of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia for a variety of fish from King Mackerel to Red Snapper and more. This trip will have you reeling in some of the best eating fish in the ocean. Captain James can make your fishing dreams come true because as he brings 20 plus years of fishing knowledge to you, to put you on the fish of a lifetime.

Captain James will be taking you out aboard his 23' Mako that has a 300 Yamaha strapped to the back to get you offshore in a hurry. The boat comes loaded with all the necessary bait, tackle, and license you will need for a successful day out on the water. Captain James recommends you bring are your favorite snacks and drinks, your sunglasses, and a great attitude to attack the day!

Captain James (Michael) has been a Licensed Captain for over 10 years and has over 30 years of fishing experience. He started Offshore fishing in High School with his dad, and it quickly became his passion. He first got his Captains License in the 1990's and started running charters, still to this day it is not just his occupation, but its what he really enjoys doing. He has lived here in St. Mary's Georgia his whole life, and has guided several people to there personal best fish with a few deferent species. Trolling for striking fish is what he enjoys the most, and he can put you on different types of bottom fish as well.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

We had an unbelievable time with Captain James and I can't wait to fish with him again. Was in the area for a wedding and was looking to head offshore so we booked with James. He kept in touch leading up to our trip and let us know the kings were running. We headed out through the St. Mary's jetties and set up on the troll after catching some baitfish on the buoys. There were a couple other boats out and no one seemed to get a bite, the kings just weren't biting. From there, Capt. James took us to one of his snapper spots and we reeled em in on every drop. Everyone caught fish and James was super patient helping one buddy who was offshore for the first time. James was a blast to fish with and was super knowledgeable about the area and its history. Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
