About Your Trip

If you've ever wanted to go after the biggest, most hard-charging gamefish the Gulf of Mexico has to offer, this is your trip. Few experiences in saltwater fishing compare to an overnight offshore run where the targets include Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, Swordfish, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo. These are world-class pelagic predators, built for speed and power, and they will test your gear, your arms, and your resolve in the best possible way. If any of these species are on your bucket list, Captains John and Martha are the team to help you cross them off.

John and Martha are true offshore specialists. They know these waters, they know the fish, and they know how to put their clients in the best possible position to succeed. One look at their catch photos tells the whole story: these two are consistently putting giants in the boat. Their expertise isn't just about finding fish; it's about reading conditions, making smart adjustments, and keeping you tight to a fish once the bite turns on.

Because this is an overnight trip, you'll have the flexibility to fish across multiple windows of opportunity. Depending on when you leave the dock, you'll spend the better part of one day and a portion of the next actively targeting fish. That extended time on the water means you're not racing against the clock. You can fish the early morning bite, grind through midday, and be positioned perfectly when afternoon conditions improve. More time offshore means more chances at the species you came for.

The primary approach is trolling, covering water with a spread of proven baits and lures designed to draw strikes from fast-moving predators like Wahoo, Tuna, and Marlin. The speed and violence of a trolling strike from a Blue Marlin or a sizzling Wahoo is something you don't forget. When the opportunity presents itself, John and Martha will also have you set up for bottomfishing, targeting species like Red Snapper, Tilefish, Red Grouper, and Amberjack. Whether you're fishing for the fight, the photo, or the table, there's something on this trip for every kind of angler.

You'll be running all of this aboard a 40-foot Invincible catamaran, one of the most capable offshore platforms built. Four 300 HP engines push her to speed quickly, getting you to productive water without burning the day. The wide, stable catamaran hull provides a comfortable, secure fishing platform even when conditions offshore get lively. John and Martha come fully stocked with top-of-the-line rods, reels, bait, and tackle, so all you need to bring is proper clothing, sunscreen, and a pair of polarized sunglasses.

If you're serious about offshore fishing and want a crew that will outwork everyone else on the water to put you on trophy fish, book your overnight trip with John and Martha. These are the kinds of trips people talk about for years.
