Whether you're a seasoned angler or a novice, a trip aboard with Captain Nel will be an unforgettable experience. He specializes in offshore fishing, and will make sure to put you on the fish.

You'll get out on the water aboard Captain Nel's amazing 41’ Hatteras sportfisher. She's powered by twin Cummins engines, providing a total of 1,000 horsepower to get you to the fish in no time. The boat is equipped with all the latest and greatest fishing gear, making it perfect for this high-intensity trip. You can relax in the air-conditioned, newly renovated salon, which includes a bathroom, or stay on deck to hear the thrilling sound of a line being pulled off the reel by a big fish. You can also sit atop the flybridge to enjoy the beautiful views.

Make sure you don't forget to pack sun protection, snacks, and beverages for your trip with Captain Nel. He will provide everything else you need for a fun day on the water, so just store your drinks and food in the salon coolers and be prepared for a great time.

Born and raised in Miami, Captain Nel is extremely familiar with the local waters as well as the Islands of the Bahamas. He is a USCG Certified 100 Ton Master Captain as well as an IGFA Certified Observer. He has fished locally in Miami, as well as abroad in the Bahamas, US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

He enjoys taking out his charters, whether they be amateurs or experienced fisherman, and “putting them on the fish.” His goal is to make sure you have a great day of fishing, and a memorable experience. Most importantly, that you will come back again and fish with him, next time you want to enjoy a great day of fishing South Florida.

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
