Have you been looking for a fun way get into Michigan trout fishing? Let Captain Fred take you out on the Manistee River for an unforgettable angling adventure! His 14 years of experience fishing the river provides him with the knowledge needed to find the fish and get you into the fight.

On this trip, Captain Fred will take you out in search of various species of Trout, including Rainbows and Browns. These fish are great fighters and terrific table fare, and once you hook a winner, Captain Fred is more than happy to fillet and package it for you. Just make sure you bring along a cooler for your catch.

Captain Fred will take you out on a 31' Tiara sportfisher, custom-built in Michigan. She's powered by two 385-HP Crusaders, and is fitted with all the necessary equipment for trolling and light-tackle fishing. She even has an onboard restroom so there's no need to pause the action. Captain Fred provides you with all the angling equipment you'll need, so just remember your Michigan fishing license, sunscreen, proper clothing, and some snacks and drinks and you'll be good to go!

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
