About Your Trip

Welcome to Biloxi, Mississippi! Biloxi is the site of a rich fishery that's home to a huge variety of fish, part of a huge marine ecosystem stretching from Texas to Florida. On a trip with Captain Mark, every part of this natural wonder is there for you to explore, from rivers and estuaries where big fish love to hang out, to shallow backcountry waters, reefs and wrecks, and more!

On this trip, you'll be casting
out for bites from species including Mutton Snapper, Black Drum, Redfish, Spotted Trout, and Sheepshead! Keep your eyes open for Cobia as well—these fish are commonly spotted cruising right at the surface, and they're both intense fighters and excellent table fare.

Your trip will start on Captain Mark's 23’ Carolina Skiff bay boat. She can take up to six anglers, and she's powered by a 150-HP Yamaha engine for a fast ride. For navigation, the boat uses quality GPS, plus a fishfinder to help you locate the big ones. Finally, she's equipped with a fighting chair and a livewell for keeping your bait fresh. Captain Mark welcomes kids on his boat, so feel free to bring along your whole family!

Your captain will provide everything you need for an awesome day, including all rods, reels, bait, and tackle. All you need to bring is sunscreen, sunglasses, and some snacks and you'll be good to go!

Overall had a pretty good trip. Fish could have been more active but a bad day on the water is always better than a good day at work. Capt. Mark is awesome and works well with kids. Overall I’d give it 8.5 out of 10.
