About Your Trip

If you've been looking for a serious Walleye trip on the beautiful waters of Lake Erie, there's no better trip than one with Captain Jim! He's an expert guide who's great at putting his clients on "wallhanger" Walleye, and he'll show you a great time whether you're a total greenhorn or an experienced angler.

On this trip, you'll be trolling and drifting for lunker Walleye, throwing a variety of baits and lures to draw bites. Walleye arent big fighters, but they're some of the best-eating freshwater fish out there, and they're super fun for every level of angler! In addition, they often hang out together, so getting multiple "tips down" at the same time isnt uncommon.

Walleye love to hit lures right off the bottom, so you'll focus on slow-trolling to draw bites. You'll be using a variety of lures, most of which will imitate small baitfish. Captain Jim will make sure you're ready to go with the best terminal tackle; he's been fishing here for years, and he knows what to throw and where to throw it.

Captain Jim runs his trips aboard his 30' Cherokee sportfisher, a beautiful vessel that's ideal for families or groups of up to six. She's fast, with twin Chevrolet Crusader engines, and comfortable, with seating and an enclosed cabin area. She also has a nice bathroom, plus all the electronics and gear you could want!

Your captain will come prepared with everything you need for an awesome trip. Just bring your fishing licenses, proper clothing, and a cooler for your keepers!

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
