About Your Trip

If you are looking for an adventure, this is it! This gator hunt takes place on private property just outside the town of Anahuac, Texas, known as the "Gator Capital of Texas". This is where Texas Gator Fest is held each year, and folks come from all around to see who can bag the biggest gator!

On this trip, you'll use the traditional hook-and-line method, but if you're interested in bowhunting please let us know.

A typical hunt consists of our guests showing up the afternoon before to set lines, then waiting overnight before going out to check them first thing in the morning. If you prefer, the guide can set your lines, and all you have to do is drive down once your gator is on the line. Once dispatched, we will load your gator and take it to the local processor, or you may take it to your own preferred processor wherever that may be. We scout daily to try and locate the best gators and bait sites, and provide the best chance of success for our customers.

Processing and tanning options can be purchased at the processor.
There is a lodging fee of $175 for each non-hunting guest.
There is a trophy fee for gators over 9 feet long, priced at $50/inch.

You'll need to buy a hunting license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 21 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
