About Your Trip

If you've been looking for a unique nighttime Walleye trip on Lake Erie, this one trip might just be for you! Captain Dave is an expert when it comes to fishing Lake Erie for Walleye, and he'll make sure that you and yours have a blast and catch 'em up.

Fish behavior changes at night, when they don't have to worry about predators and their prey is easy to spot against the moonlight sky. Walleye
in particular have large eyes and good vision, making them excellent nocturnal predators of small baitfish.
On this trip, you'll be casting out for Walleye, Perch, and Smallmouth Bass, throwing a variety of lures to draw bites. Walleye are your main targets and your only "keeper" fish, but all these species are fun fighters!

Captain Dave will supply everything you need for a blue-ribbon day, including all rods, reels, bait and tackle! Just bring a cooler with some snacks and drinks, and proper clothing!

You'll be out there aboard his 30' Baja sportfisher, an ideal boat for fishing in all conditions. With an enclosed cabin area, a big rear deck for casting, and plenty of trolling gear and amenities, she's perfect for family trips. The sun is setting and the fish are biting—what are you waiting for?!
