Head out for a full day fishing adventure with Captain Hunter to run far offshore and get after Swordfish—one of the hardest-fighting fish in the Gulf!

On this trip, you'll be heading 40+ miles offshore, trolling for lightning-fast gamefish such as King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, and Blackfin Tuna. Once you reach the best fishing grounds, you'll drop your lines much deeper to attract Swordfish, which migrate at great depths, hunting for squid, baitfish, ballyhoo, and more. These fish are hungry, and when they hit your line, you'll feel it! Bring your A-game on this trip, because the Swords will really test your strength, skill, and stamina.

You'll be getting some serious fishing done aboard Hunter's 30' Seahunter center console. She's powered by twin Yamaha 300-HP engines, so you'll cruise offshore with some serious speed. This well-equipped vessel comes with all the necessities, including GPS, Fishfinder, a Live Bait Well, and an Ice Box to store your catches. This boat also has a comfortable cabin area so that you can relax in the shade in between hook-ups.

Captain Hunter will provide top-of-the-line rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses. All you need to bring is sunglasses, sunscreen, a lunch, and any snacks or drinks you'd like to enjoy while onboard.

The weather wasn’t super conducive, and we were late in the season, but Capt Hunter worked overtime to get us on some bugs and make sure r went home with some! And he was great with our 11 year old son who was out for hours first time with us! Definitely will look him up again when we’re back in the keys.

Hunter and his crew were excellent, it was a first time going lobstering so they made everyone feel very safe and comfortable going over everything in detail and going with us to enure our comfort and saftey. Althugh we did run into some weather they worked very hard to get us on lobsters and work around the weather. The first time we drop in the water there my friend had a lobster right under him within a minute. As weather progressed they even gave us credit since we couldn't stay out the entire time even though it was already a great experience. We will be back again.

Hunter is a lobster expert and put me on numerous keeper lobsters while, from what I hear, most other guides struggled to in these very tough 2024 mini-season conditions (last 2 days). Good guy, and is patient and happy to teach newbie free-divers like me the ropes. I HIGHLY recommend for newbies or experts!! He obviously knows his stuff and he must be one of the best lobster fisherman in the Keys....

Captain Hunter and the team will give you the best experience that you could ask for lobstering !
It was my first trip doing this, and it is remarkable.
The Captains helped me set a foundation of what to do and to be careful. Their safety is number one priority. Will definitely recommend Captain Hunter to everyone and I want to come back lobstering with him again. Valerie and Captain Janis also help this trip run smooth and create fun environment. They nailed it with name! It was truly a Captain Experience and we had the pleasure of going out with Capt Hunter and his mate, Robert. The seas were rough, the sign was shining and the water was splashing. For most, they would have turned tail to head back to shore but the salt air was filled with the giggles of my family as Capt skirted over the waves, flawlessly. We bummed, we bounced, we laughed and we caught some beautiful fish. Capt Hunter was truly the perfect definition of an experienced Captain. He was safe, cautious, full of knowledge and fun! The whole 8 hour trip was worth every penny saved and every memory made. The Colonel (aka the Capt) will 💯 be our go to charter Capt for future trip. Robert, was fun and charming and a very valuable part of the crew. We truly had the best time and would highly recommend them to anyone. The Captain Experiences team goes above and beyond to make sure it’s smooth sailing from the moment you book a charter with them. The communication is second to none with them. Available at all times of the day. Thank you, Gentlemen for a exhilarating experience. You haven’t seen the last of us.

Was a great trip, got on some nice fish. Got surprised by a large school of smaller mahi mahi but had fun with the instant hook up and seemed to last a good bit.
Captain was great, very knowledgeable and supplied drinks if we needed any.
The boat was clean and spacious for the both of us and had plenty of rods in the water.

The guide was really good at getting us on the fish and multiple species and big fish! However he was kinda aggressive and yelled at us and made us clean up his boat every 5 minutes. 2 out of the 3 of us were new and never fished however he was kinda aggressive in teaching fishing techniques. He kinda made it feel like he caught the fish and then we just realed them in. But this guide does know his stuff and will get you on fish. On top of that not his fault at all!! But my trip was booked for the mangroves and captain experiences changed it to kinda deep ocean fishing.
