On this "cast and blast" adventure, you can take full advantage of all that the Texas coast has to offer, bagging ducks in the morning and catching fish all afternoon. This trip is perfect for groups!

In terms of duck hunting, South Texas is smack in the middle of the Central Flyway, and is a stopover for dozens of migratory waterfowl species. The sheltered bays here draw hundreds of thousands of ducks annually, including Green-Winged and Blue-Winged Teals, Wigeons, Redheads, Pintails, Gadwalls, and Mottled Ducks, and more! You can target all of these species, which are exciting quarries and great eating to boot!

On this trip, your guide, Chase, will make sure to put you in the perfect spot to nail some inbound waterfowl. He'll provide the decoys and will brush in your blind, so all you need to bring is your waders, your guns, and your shells.

Chase also has an excellent eye, so once you've hit your limit on one species, he can help point out other viable targets before they're in-range. Stay on the right side of the law and help protect the resource by only shooting what you're allowed!

Texas' Coastal Bend region is also a fisherman's paradise, with abundant opportunities to catch Redfish, Trout, Sheepshead, and more in the shallow backwater and marshes. On this charter fishing trip, guests can experience the thrill of reeling in these exciting and delicious fish, which are a blast to catch for any saltwater angler!

Once you're out on the water aboard Captain Chase's 22’ airboat, you'll have the chance to use a variety of techniques to catch these fish including sight casting with lures or bait, "soaking" cut shrimp or mullet on the bottom to create a commotion that will attract the fish. The shallow water makes for an exciting and challenging fishing experience, as the fish can be easily spooked and will require quick reflexes and a deft touch to catch.

After a day of fishing, guests will return to the dock with their catch, which can be cleaned and filleted by the captain. Go home with a trophy, a full cooler, and a camera full of lifelong memories!

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

Chase and Marshall were awesome. They took a boat of 3 13 yr olds and an 11 yr old and the dads on separate boat. Everyone had a great time and we landed 2 huge 40” bulls!!

Great time out there with Chase. Conditions were tough on the last weekend of the season with the tides going out and the weather heating up and Chase worked hard to mix up our spots and get us some birds. He even stayed out a little late with us to give us some extra opportunities to shoot. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to shoot some puddle ducks on the coast.
