If your young anglers want to spend a day on the water hooking their first fish, this is the trip for you. Join Captain Don on this nearshore voyage designed to introduce your children to saltwater fishing in calm protected waters close to shore. Near Orange Beach, AL, there are plenty of fish to be caught including Black Drum, Ladyfish, Crab, and Trout. This is a trip that will stay with your kids forever and hopefully ignite a love for fishing.

You and your family will also target Sheepshead and Skate on this short, 3 hour charter. It is a very manageable time so the young anglers don’t get fussy and Captain Don is great with kids, being a father himself. There is a possibility of seeing Dolphins, Sea Turtles, and Manatees as well, which can be a very exciting experience for children and adults alike.

On this trip, you will be aboard a 25’ Carolina Skiff, powered by a 150HP Evinrude engine. The vessel provides a smooth ride through the calm waters, ensuring a safe and positive environment for your family. And not to worry–Captain Don provides all the light tackle and other equipment needed to hook fish as well as bottled water. All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Don was awesome! we had a 4 and 7 year olds and he was very attentive to both. he wasn't overbearing like some captions and let us fish, but was on it if someone needed help. If you have kids and want to finish I highly recommend this charter!
