About Your Trip

When it comes to Hog and Javelina hunting in South Texas, few operations run as smooth or as well-prepared as the one Brent puts together each season. Running late January through mid-March, these hunts take place after deer season when the brush country is cool, the feeders have been working all season long, and the game is moving freely and unpressured. It is one of the best windows of the year to be in the South Texas brush, and Brent has built his entire operation around making the most of it.

Brent runs hunts across several ranches scattered throughout the South Texas brush country and the Hill Country region around Austin and San Antonio, with properties ranging from 1,000 to 15,000 acres. Rather than hammering the same ground all season, he rotates hunters through each ranch after just a week or so, keeping every group on fresh, unpressured game and maintaining the kind of success rates that keep his hunters coming back year after year. Long before your hunt begins, Brent has already done the work, setting up rifle and archery stands, filling corn feeders, and identifying the most productive areas on each property so that no hunting time is wasted when you arrive.

These are semi-guided hunts, meaning Brent will walk you through the ranch on arrival, show you the stand locations, explain the lay of the land, and point you toward the areas showing the most activity before turning you loose to hunt on your own terms. You get the freedom and satisfaction of hunting independently with the confidence of knowing exactly where to focus your time. Brent remains on the ranch throughout your hunt for anything you need, and he runs the feeder roads every afternoon to keep the game moving and give every hunter the best possible chance at a harvest.

Night hunting is permitted, and hunters are welcome to use any weapon except fully automatic firearms. Each hunter is allowed two trophy Javelina, and there are no trophy fees or hidden costs to worry about. The cost of corn runs approximately $50 per hunter for the duration of the hunt.

Lodging is included and fully comfortable, with all the amenities of home waiting for you at the end of each day in the field. Prefer to bring your own RV? That option is available as well. Space is intentionally kept limited so the ranches never feel crowded and every hunter gets the experience they came for.

Book your South Texas Hog and Javelina hunt with Brent today and come find out why this is one of the most well-run hunting operations in the Lone Star State.

Brent was the real deal. It put us on the fish and we made our limit by 8am and was able to just catch and release the rest of the morning. He is very knowledgeable about the best fishing holes. We got to see dolphins, stingrays, and turtles and he was a wealth of knowledge. I strongly recommend Brent and I hear is hunting/fishing combo is to die for. Can’t go wrong here!
