Get ready for an action-packed day of Montana fly fishing when you join Jordan and float your way down the mighty Yellowstone River with one of the most experienced guides in Southwest Montana. On this fly-fishing trip, you'll be floating down the Yellowstone River on a 4 or 8-hour stretch anywhere from Gardiner to Livingston, targeting Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Native Cutthroat and Cut bows.

Jordan is a great teacher and can cater his trips to groups of all experience levels. He and his guides will provide everything you need for your trip, including rods, reels, tackle, flies, a fully stocked cooler and sage advice! All you need to bring are weather-appropriate clothes (a rain jacket's always a good idea), eye protection (preferably polarized sunglasses), and a great attitude!

Lunch will be provided on full day trips only. Eye protection is required, Polarized Sunglasses are highly recommended, a good pair of croakies are always a good idea as well.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Jordan will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Jordan is an absolute Master of his craft. His understanding of fish is unparralled. Honestly its like he is one. The yellowstone was blown out due to heavy rains so we audibled to a 17 mile float on the Lower Madison. We fished a new and totally unique set of techniques fishing indicators with crayfish pattern followed by a nymph. He told me exactly when to mend, when to let the flies drag a hair, and when to re adjust with a new cast to get the perfect action on the flies. I missed a lot of big eats and landed some beautiful (and fat) rainbows and browns! Back at the ramp no one had the succes we did. I learn so much from Jordan everytime im out there. Can’t reccomend booking a trip with him enough.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
