About Your Trip

Hit the water with Captain Daniel and experience an action-packed day of fishing! The deep waters in the Gulf of Mexico are an excellent place to chase after some serious fish.

This 8, 10, or 12-hour adventure allows you to target a wide variety of fish, such as Red Snapper (depending on the season), Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Cobia, and many more species of fish. The crew of Captain Daniel will guide you every step of
the way. You will fish for big game fish, troll weed lines, and bottom fish around rocks, wrecks, and structures. The crew especially loves teaching kids and beginners everything about the different fish species available in this area, as well as fishing techniques.

For these trips, Captain Daniel uses a 44' Tiarra with a capacity of 6 anglers. Powered by twin inboard Desiel engines, she'll get you far away from land with time to spare! This sturdy vessel comes equipped with all the essential navigational gear as well as a toilet and a small cabin to make your offshore excursion as comfortable as possible.

Captain Daniel will supply fuel, bait, top-of-the-line rods and reels, tackle, a cooler and ice. All you need to bring is a valid Texas Fishing License with a saltwater stamp for those over 16 years of age, food and drinks of your choice (no bananas), and comfortable life jackets if you are traveling with children. Captain Daniel will clean any keepers for you to take home.

Get ready to make some memories on the water with Captain Daniel!

The crew gives their full attention to every guest who comes aboard, and they're excited to fish with experienced and beginner anglers alike. Captain Danny and the team especially like teaching kids and beginners
about fish species and the fishing techniques they’ve learned from generations of living right here on the Gulf of Mexico.

Captain Danny is a third generation fisherman, so starting his own fishing services was in his blood. He grew up on the water, and had a boat before he even had a truck to tow it!

Captain Danny loves teaching young and new anglers about deep sea fishing, and he’s especially proud of the customers who come back to fish with him every year. When he’s not working, you can find Captain Danny hanging out with his family, and enjoying the day’s catch.

Every trip with Captain Danny includes top of the line fishing gear including poles, tackle, and accessories, ice chests to keep your food and drink cold all day long, and live bait.

Captain Dan and his crew are great. If you choose any other charter to fish with you are missing out. They will work hard to get you on the fish and take care of you. Give them a shot you won’t be disappointed.

Capt Blake and deckhand Bryson were awesome. This is a nice yacht disguised as a fishing boat. Nice accommodations with an excellent A/C even on the bridge. We picked up a load of snapper and a nice wahoo while trolling.

Had a great time on the 8 hour trip. We caught snappers then went hunting for bonus fish. Communication with the business and our captain was great. We showed up later than planned but our captain was flexible. Danny's was a great choice.

Once we got started it was clear that he was very knowledgeable and knew where to go to maximize our fishing efforts. Great trip with James (AKA Grandpa) seas were a little rough but that's too be expected. Had a Member of our group get very ill and not only was James's first thought his safety but we cut our trip short and he even discounted the fees. Very thankful and will use them again. I can't put the review in and not mention Daryl, his mate, as well. To notch crew!!

Captain said meet at 8 at dock. We got there early. Captain picked us up early but then spent the next hour looking for live shrimp and fuel. Then he tried to have me buy more shrimp and got into a heated argument with shrimp sales lady about not giving him enough. It was a bit cringy. On top of that fish weren’t biting. Not the captains fault on that one but over was unimpressed.

Very nice 8 hours of fishing.
Only caught 3 barracuda but i don't hold the captain responsible for how hungry the fish are. I'm told it was early season.

My one complaint is that instead of the fish cleaning being included in the price and service, we had to take it to the fish house on the marina and pay $15 more.

At 6:30am, the mate was getting the boat ready...captain came out from cabin at 6:45 and invited us to board. Pulled out around 7am. Captain tells us that we're going to fish mainly for wahoo, but might get some blackfin tuna. Both great eating fish. Takes us out about 40 miles, and puts us on a school of Jack Crevalle...we land 3. Fun to catch, but they are junk fish. Rather than move to other fish, he stayed for 2.5 hours in the same area. We caught nothing but Jack Crevalle's and one Barracuda. They tried to tell us that Barracuda are excellent to eat (thats why you see them on every restaurant menu). After 2.5 hours of fishing, they ran out of bait, so then drove to another area to bottom fish for an hour...never got a bite. 8 hour trip over in 7. The mate was an excellent dude, the captain was a dud. Won't be back...don't waste your money on this charter
