About Your Trip

Spend a day on the water with Bryan targeting some of the most productive lakes in Central Texas during the fall fishing season, when cooling temperatures and active baitfish movement create steady, reliable action across multiple fisheries. Lakes including Austin, Travis, Bastrop, LBJ, and Buchanan are all producing consistent catches right now, with anglers often seeing 15 to 30 fish or more on a half day trip depending on conditions.

This is a versatile fishery
where fish can be found both shallow and deep, and Bryan adjusts each trip based on the current bite pattern. In shallow water, fish may be relating to docks, rocky banks, and submerged vegetation where they ambush bait moving through the shallows. In deeper water, schools often hold on ledges, drop-offs, and open water structure, requiring a different approach to locate and stay on active fish. The ability to shift between these patterns is key to maintaining consistent action throughout the day.

For anglers looking to target larger fish or chase a true trophy, Lake Falcon stands out as a premier destination. Known for producing quality-sized fish, it offers a different style of fishing focused more on patience, precision, and capitalizing on bigger bites when they come. These waters are ideal for those looking to step up in size and test their skills against stronger, heavier fish.

Trips are well suited for all experience levels, including families and young anglers. Bryan places a strong emphasis on helping kids and beginners get on fish quickly, making it an excellent opportunity to introduce new anglers to the sport in a fun and productive environment. The steady action found across these lakes makes it easy to stay engaged and keep rods bending throughout the day.

Whether you are looking for numbers, size, or a great family experience on the water, this Central Texas fishing trip offers a flexible and rewarding day guided by local knowledge and consistent seasonal patterns.

Hi, I'm Bryan. I'm a licensed bass fishing guide and I will use my extensive knowledge of the area lakes to provide the best service available. I have over 47 years of fishing experience, but have been focused solely on freshwater techniques in the past 30 years while guiding for over 26 now. My total commitment to the sport and future of bass fishing ensures that every trip is an informative experience.

Experienced anglers will appreciate my knowledge of the
lakes and productive fishing techniques. Beginners will enjoy learning to catch fish as I will provide instruction in a patient and effective manner. I will work hard to provide a memorable fishing trip tailored to your interests.

In addition to providing a top quality, client-focused fishing, I also compete in local, regional and national bass tournaments. I compete in some of the regions top circuits including Texas Team Trail, BassChamps, MLF and other local and state tournaments. I've also fished in the local BASS Regional events where I've won the title of Angler of the Year for the North Central Region which includes over 38 bass clubs along with many top 10 and top 5 finishes. It's a great honor to have accomplished this with so many great fishermen and fisherwomen in this region. I have also competed in 5 different bass clubs, getting AOY in all of them 7 times combined.
