About Your Trip

If you're looking for a true Florida fishing adventure, hop aboard with Captain Brad for a deep sea trip out of New Smyrna Beach that’s packed with action and variety. This trip is all about putting you on fish and giving you an unforgettable day on the water—whether you're bottom fishing deep reefs or trolling for summertime speedsters.

On this trip, Captain Brad will take you offshore aboard his 27’ Dorado center console, fully equipped
with top-of-the-line electronics like radar, sonar, and a livewell to keep your bait fresh and frisky. With 285 HP powering this sleek vessel, you'll be out on the productive nearshore and deep sea waters in no time. There's plenty of comfortable seating—including bean bag chairs—so you can relax between hook-ups, and there’s Bluetooth stereo onboard if you want to set the vibe with your favorite playlist.

Once you're out there, the focus is bottom fishing with a mix of frozen and live bait, targeting a variety of Snapper species—like Lane, Mangrove, Mutton, Red, and Vermillion—as well as hard-fighting Amberjack when in season. These deep-holding reef fish provide a steady bite and a serious tug at the end of the line. And during the summer months, trolling heats up with the chance to hook into fast-moving pelagic species like Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, Bonita, and Barracuda.

Captain Brad uses a variety of proven techniques—bottom dropping, jigging, drifting, light and heavy tackle—to match the conditions and what’s biting best. He’ll walk you through every step, whether you’re a seasoned offshore angler or new to the game.

This trip is kid-friendly and fully federally permitted, so you can venture far enough offshore to get in on the best deep sea action without restriction. All tackle, rods, reels, bait (live and cut), and gear are provided—just bring your snacks, drinks (no glass please), and sunscreen.

At the end of the trip, Captain Brad will clean your catch for an additional fee so you can head home with fresh fillets. If you’re ready to experience the thrill of deep sea fishing on Florida’s East Coast, this trip with Captain Brad is the way to do it!
