There’s plenty of storage for your gear, and you’re welcome to bring your favorite snacks and drinks—just keep it to cans, no glass please.

He operates out the Clearwater/St. Petersburg area specializing in a wide variety of species including Redfish, Snook, Trout, Grouper, Kingfish, and the might Tarpon amongst the numerous other species our pristine waters of the Florida Gulf Coast have to offer.

He has been working in the fishing industry for most of his life. He started his career fishing the rivers, streams, and lakes of the Utah mountains mainly for rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout with a fly rod. He also worked as a guide and instructor teaching people how to tie flies and fly fish. He moved to Florida in 2000 with a want and desire to become a full time fishing guide. While working in the areas top Tackle and Marnie shop, Dogfish Tackle, he received his Captains license and began his Charter career. Now a full time charter captain and father of two, Capt. Tyson has learned what it takes to make a day out on the water an exciting experience for the whole family! His number of repeat customers dictates his ability to customize each charter experience to meet the needs of each and every guest on his boat. Whether it is the serious angler wanting to purse their quest for a Trophy fish or a novice wanting to learn the basics of saltwater fishing, he can do it all.

I worked on an offshore charter boat my first Cpl of years to build up sea time. I got my license and began running charters on my own in 2005.
What makes you different from other guides?
I think like most people who own their own business customer satisfaction is my goal. It’s my name and reputation on the line each day I’m on the water and you can’t pick up a new reputation back at the dock.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.
You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 2 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 2 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Tyson is the real deal. He put me on fish quickly and if I want such a terrible angler I am sure I would’ve caught more lol. What an amazing experience and I would go with Titan again in a heartbeat. He was a wealth of knowledge and I’m thankful he was willing to show me the area. Unfortunately, he ruined me from ever wanting to freshwater fish after a great day in the shallows....

Seemed a bit overwhelming having 4 on the boat who had never fished the flats before and several being relative novices for just 1 crew member. As a result about 1/3 the time 1-2 of our party weren’t fishing as we could have been. He was working hard though … much appreciated! Would highly recommend a 2nd crew member when...
