Experience some of Florida's finest inshore and nearshore fishing with Captain Kevin on the productive waters surrounding Belleair Bluffs, Clearwater, and Tampa Bay. Whether you're looking for a quick four-hour trip, a six-hour adventure, or a full day on the water, every charter is customized around current conditions and the species that are biting best.

Depending on the season, your day may take you across expansive grass flats, winding mangrove shorelines, shallow backcountry waters, beaches, bridges, productive reefs, or nearshore wrecks in the Gulf of Mexico. Captain Kevin carefully plans each trip around the tides, weather, and water conditions, allowing you to fish the areas offering the greatest opportunities that day.

The diversity of this fishery means there's always something exciting to target throughout the year. Depending on the season, you may find yourself casting to mangrove-lined shorelines for Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Black Drum, working deeper structure for Mangrove Snapper and Gag Grouper, or trolling nearshore waters when King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel are on the move. During the right time of year, anglers may also have the opportunity to pursue the legendary Silver King—Tarpon—one of Florida's most sought-after game fish.

Captain Kevin uses a variety of proven techniques throughout the day, including light tackle casting, bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, and live bait presentations. Every trip is adjusted to match current conditions, ensuring you spend your time fishing the most productive water available rather than sticking to a fixed plan.

You'll fish aboard a comfortable 21-foot Key West bay boat that's perfectly suited for both shallow inshore waters and nearshore Gulf adventures. The boat accommodates up to four guests and is equipped with quality electronics, a wireless trolling motor, a live bait well, plenty of cooler space, and comfortable seating for a productive day on the water.

Your trip includes rods, reels, tackle, live bait, artificial lures, bottled water, fish cleaning and filleting, and your fishing license while aboard the charter. If you'd like additional drinks or snacks, you're welcome to bring them along. Beer is permitted, and cans are preferred. Families are always welcome, and children of all ages can enjoy spending the day on the water with Captain Kevin.

I'm Captain Kevin, a passionate angler with a profound love for fishing. My roots trace back three generations to my family's bait and tackle shop in Brooklyn, NY, where cherished childhood memories were made fishing with my grandfather and brother on the marina docks behind our family store. Over the years, my expertise had grown, specializing in catching striped bass and bluefish in the Long Island Sound and NY beaches, complemented by various freshwater fishing adventures.

In 2016, my journey led me to Clearwater, where I quickly secured a position as a mate on an offshore charter boat. Embracing my passion, I found gratitude and fulfillment working with clients seeking a day of enjoyment on the boat. Shortly after, I proudly earned my 100-ton master captain's license and transitioned to a captain's role on a private charter boat. Despite my growing love for offshore fishing, I couldn't resist the allure of exploring the local inshore waters, particularly reveling in the pursuit of snook during countless days and sleepless nights in my off-duty hours. Adapting my skills from NY, I discovered the inshore fishery here to be surprisingly similar and even more rewarding, with different species and tactics capturing my fascination. Recognizing that this was where I truly belonged, I eventually fulfilled my goal of owning my own boat and launching my own fishing charter.

Sharing the joy of fishing has always been my dream. The water has been a constant source of solace, offering peace, tranquility, and unforgettable moments. All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip. We provide bottled water on ice. Please feel free to bring any other beverages and snacks. There is a cooler on board to keep your drinks cold.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 2 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 2 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Kevin is very knowledgeable of the waters and fish. He had us on Fisk the whole time even despite the weather interruptions. I would recommend Kevin to any kooky to catch some fish and have a wonderful time as well.

We had an amazing experience with Capt Kevin! From start to finish, the trip was comfortable, fun, and perfectly suited for our family, especially our little kids. Capt Kevin was patient, friendly, and great at making everyone feel at ease, which made a huge difference for us.
