If you’re looking for a unique and thrilling fishing experience, this trip is for you!

Captain Jonathan has spent years fishing Florida’s rivers and knows how to get you on these toothy predators. He’ll set you up with the best techniques for the day, whether it’s bottom fishing with cut bait, using live bait, or even trying your hand at fly fishing or bowfishing. Gar are aggressive feeders with a knack for explosive strikes, and once they’re hooked, they’ll give you a battle you won’t forget.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Jonathan will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

I was really disappointed, The whole purpose of booking this trip was to catch snakeheads. Instead we essentially tried to fish a drainage next to the interstate for baby gar. Something I could've done behind our house He did his best with what he had to work with but it was not at all what we were led to believe. After being moved around with different days and guides we stayed longer in Florida to do this trip. It would have been fine just to say "Sorry, but we are unable to accommodate you this week maybe we can do again later ". Dale

You requested a very last minute trip and we got you set up with Jonathan at the earliest available date (5 days after you reached out). It sounds like you caught a bunch of peacock bass and broke off on some other fish in a short 3 hour trip, but we understand the feeling when you don't get your target species. We’ll keep trying to reach you so we can get you a discount on a future trip and get you back out there, and hopefully we can get you a better experience next time.
