Join Captain Kyle for a true once-in-a-lifetime offshore deep dropping adventure in the Gulf of Mexico, running as far as 150 miles offshore into some of the deepest and most productive fishing grounds available. This is an elite-level trip designed for serious anglers who want to experience the thrill of fishing depths ranging from 400 to 700 feet and targeting some of the most prized deepwater species in the Gulf.

The focus of this trip is deep dropping over offshore structure, ledges, and drop-offs where bottom-dwelling species concentrate in the deep. Using high-quality electric reels provided on board, you’ll be able to fish efficiently at extreme depths, with manual reels also available for those who prefer a more hands-on fight. This style of fishing opens the door to species that few anglers ever have the chance to target.

Depending on conditions and location, you may encounter Snowy Grouper, Yellowedge Grouper, Tilefish, Queen Snapper, Warsaw Grouper, and a wide variety of other deepwater species. These fish are known for their unique habitat, powerful fights, and incredible table quality, making every drop a potential trophy opportunity.

While the primary focus is deep dropping, there may also be opportunities to troll during the run offshore and between drops if conditions allow, adding another layer of variety to the trip. For anglers interested in SPJ style fishing, that option is also available upon request, with gear available onboard for an additional charge.

Guests are also welcome to bring their own gear if preferred, allowing experienced anglers to fish with familiar equipment in extreme depths. Due to the nature of the trip and the distances involved, this charter is strictly limited to four anglers, ensuring plenty of space and attention throughout the day.

Hello, I am Captain Kyle and will be your guide and mate on the trips you book. I like to deal with customers personally, so I choose not to have a mate or second captain unless requested. When I moved to Pine Island many years ago, I worked on a commercial Grouper boat out of Fort Myers beach. I fished with Capt Jack, one of the pioneers in the area of commercial fishing. We would load up on his 40ft trawler with ice, bait, gear, and head out. We would sometimes be gone for several days at a time. When we would head out, our goal was thousands of pounds of fish to sell to the market. Commercial fishing was fun and a lot of hard work, I have many memories during those times. Now I have a family and days on the water is not an option anymore. I have always loved watching others enjoy the sport of fishing so becoming a guide was an easy transition. With the experience and knowledge of commercial fishing, I gathered years of information about the area and secret locations out in the gulf. I also spend my personal time time chasing fish with extensive time in the Bahamas, Key West, Venice Lousiana, east coast of Florida, and the Dominican Republic. I have caught about every fish on anyones bucket list. At this point its about getting bigger and better for my personal goals. I am asked a lot why I became a charter guide, my answer is, I honestly enjoy sharing my knowledge about Fishing. The number one reason for why I guide is the enjoyment I receive when I watch someone land a trophy. Its a moment you will hold onto for a lifetime!!

All you need is your food and drinks for yourselves I would recommend to bring a towel and maybe a change of clothing

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
